OUR FOCUS

Our focus is to enrich Ghanaian education to empower students to become innovators and entrepreneurs, that is mobilizing and training young people; orphans, school dropouts, unskilled young men and women who have no future career in the field of IT and fashion designing to add value to the life of the youth. It is our priority to assist students who are really brilliant but one way or the other needy in education.

We call on IT firms and IT experts around the world to help us complete and implement our innovative ideologies to develop Ghana as a country to rock shoulders with the developed countries. We have vast innovative ideas which could be implemented to move the country forward.

ABOUT US

Ghana National Association of ICT Teachers is an association uniting ICT instructors from both public and private schools and I.T professionals in Ghana in the cause of promoting ICT education. GNAIT help to train young men and women in the field of IT offer teaching and learning materials and establish IT centers for educational purposes intiated in 2016 by teachers from united Kingdom ,Germany, Denmark and ICT and IT professionals from Ghana.

GNAIT has quickly dominated the entire nation and we have members in all the ten regions of Ghana. We aim at supporting deprive schools by establishing computer laboratories for them, organising workshops for students and ICT teachers and organising ICT quizzes for students nationwide.

Our mission is to mobilise all ICT teachers, IT professionals and Academicians in Ghana to link up with the same caliber of people internationally to help us come out and implement our IT ideologies to develop our dear nation, Ghana.
Our vision it to transform Ghanaian traditional methodologies where chalk and chalkboards are use in teaching and learning into digital learning where projectors and smartboards are used to improve the academic standard in Ghanaian education..
We are passionate to train unskilled people to acquire future career in I.T and support I.T professionals in diverse ways; establish businesses, expand businesses, guide and promote their goods and services. It is our priority to seek welfare of I.T professionals, ICT teachers and students in Ghana.

  3. G.N.A.I.T will put up strategies that will support and compel GES, Ministry of Education and other relevant bodies to make ICT subject examinable at the second cycle institutions in Ghana.
  4. To deepen or increase the interest of students to like I.C.T subject and used ICT in the right context
  5. To have a common ICT Textbook approved by Ghana Education Service for Basic Schools and Senior High Schools in Ghana.
  6. To equip ICT Teachers to improve teaching and learning of ICT subject in Ghana
  7. To improve the teaching of ICT in Ghana, and to acquaint member of new trends in ICT and ICT syllabuses.
  8. To initiate and develop links between teachers of ICT, their pupils and other institutions requiring the application of ICT

  19. To transform the transportation ticketing system into electronics where we will use oyster card in Ghana
  20. To mobilise I.T professionals and I.C.T teachers in Ghana to team up to promote ICT Education and innovate new things to develop the country
  21. To link with international I.T professionals, I.T companies, and I.T experts to help complete and implement innovative ideologies for national development

  10. Electronic ticketing system shall be implemented in Ghana 2025
  11. Um-employed graduates shall be offered training in I.T to gain employment or may be supported to establish their own business.

OUR OBJECTIVES

  1. To offer schools in Ghana ICT textbooks to enhance teaching and learning of ICT subject in both basic and high schools
  2. To offer schools in Ghana IT equipment such as computers, printers, webcams, projectors, modems, pen drives, scanners, photocopiers, etc. to facilitate teaching and learning
  3. To offer and install electronic (interactive) boards in schools (deprived) for effective teaching and learning.
  4. To offer training and guidance to ICT teachers/instructors in Ghanaian schools through workshops by our ICT team to shape them to teach in accordance to national curriculum/ICT syllabus
  5. To establish computer schools in our communities to train young people to acquire skills to work with
  6. To raise awareness of Information Technology and increased understanding of the use I.T
  7. To promote Information Technology in deprived areas of Ghana
  8. To enhance pupils and students experiences through active learning of ICT
  9. To improve communication skills among pupils and students
  10. To train staff in global citizenship and critical thinking in IT field
